Out of School Childcare

Overview

In 2003 Vale in the Community ventured into the world of Childcare Provision and Boomers Club was born, funding for initial set up costs was provided by the Big Lottery and for the first three years the Local Authority Children and Young Peoples Department overlooked the Finances and Management of the project whilst offering training support and advice.

The Club for children 8 to 14 years old is located in the Community Building in Hamil Road Entrance C, we operate during holiday periods only at present, in 2005 we achieved the Aiming Higher Award which is determined by achievement of 14 different standards.        

Boomers Club is currently under review and will not be operational this summer, watch this page for future updates!

 Price Stucture

£65.00 for 5 day week

£52.00 for 4 day week

£20.00 Trip Day only

£14.00 for individual days

Programme Format

Boomers Club is a multi sports setting which is suitable to young sporting enthusiasts, however we do have a mixed programme and include karaoke, computer based activities, art and craft and weekly outings.

We provide breakfast and afternoon snacks/Refreshments.
